The days and weeks leading up to New Years Eve if often a time of reflection for people. We remenice of the good times we’ve had over the past 12 months, and think about all we want to do in the year to come. For those that still make new year’s resolutions they most commonly end up being to lose weight, stop smoking, be healthier or save more money.

We asked people across Lanark County (including some of our own Hometown News team) what they are resolving for 2018. What about you — what’s your resolution? Share it with us by emailing editorial@pdgmedia.ca or commenting on our Facebook page (@HometownNewsLanark)

Bill King
Owner, Blackwood Originals
“To be a better husband to my wife, and a better Dad for my kids.”

Bridget Sarazin
Carleton Place
“I plan on making more one-on-one time with each of my children, be more active and model a healthier lifestyle. Also, to wash my face before bed every night!”

Elizabeth Cox, 10, Perth
“I want to get stronger legs and ankles to be able to go on pointe shoes in
ballet.”
